The HeartStrings Discovery

In 2024, while developing HeartStrings, an AI-powered dating platform, founder Tash Broadwater encountered a fundamental challenge: AI models demanded excessive data storage and computing resources, limiting innovation for independent developers.

"What if the problem isn't the AI—but the way we represent information?"

That question became ByteLite. Not a better compressor — a different kind of compressor. Dictionary cascades. Szudzik pairing. Shared-model assumptions. We're building toward ratios that would make the current enwik9 leaders look bloated. Hutter Prize submission planned. Verification will tell us how close we actually get.

Our Vision

Storage and bandwidth shouldn't be the limiting factor. ByteLite is our attempt to remove that bottleneck for structured data. Deep Kore is our bet that the same architecture might matter for more than just storage.
